Say no to getting bullied

Do you know, every year more than 3.2 million students in the world are overshadowed by the people who find some sort of entertainment by shattering others confidence . Some societies in the world consider these dominant figures as being “cool” in a way they can stand out of the crowd. How on earth can one become ‘cool’ by mentally or physically torturing someone? Some are bullied physically whereas some are bullied emotionally, either way its a mentally draining experience.

I, myself was a victim of this situation, a few years back. In my case, the most tragic part was that I was foreign to the idea of me getting bullied.I roamed around her like I was some sort of her dog. I guess this was because I was desperate for having friends, that I soon lost track of the position I was standing in.
Now that I think about it, it’s sort of funny and painful at the same time: funny because I actually let her bully me for 4 years and painful because no one around me help me realize what I was doing with myself. But someone once told me that “ one thing can only bother or effect you when you want it to”.

Thus, my message through this blog is, no one can bully you or dominate you until you have faith in yourself and confidence in your abilities because no one can stop you from conquering the world if you know who you really are. And the important thing to remember while being in a situation like this is: if you are being bullied then u r to also blame yourself because you don’t have the guts to stand up for yourself..
I was a coward once and I regret that but its never too late. I learned from my mistakes and made some really doop ass friends later on in life so STAND UP FOR YOURSELF and LOVE YOURSELF no matter what.

Yes, I have been bullied. I transferred to a new school as a freshman in high school. It was an all girls Catholic School, and the girls knew each other since 1st grade. I felt like I was an alien. The girls were mean, even prying into my lunch box to see what “the girl from the other school ate for lunch.” I just could not take it any longer. I spoke up and told them that I will be reporting their nastiness to the principal and they’ll be given disciplinary demerits which would lead to suspension. They stopped. I eventually gained a few good friends. 🙂

Bullying is one of the worst things that can happen to anyone, especially worse when it happens to budding kids. I never witnessed bullying as such but I changed many schools because of moving to different cities, and that meant going to new schools and it was a little uncomfortable to try to break in the groups of kids that have been in that school for ages.

I’ve been horribly bullied all my life (I’m 30 now) School was the worst but even on my Wedding Day. I speak a lot about bullying on my blog too as it’s so important to teach kids not to bully others especially in Society today.

Bullying takes a toll when it’s done and I know it has to be one of the hardest things a person can deal with and it’s something that will always be remembered one day I hope people realize how bad this hurts others

I was bullied to the point where legal action was needed. 1985. One bully was sentenced to six months probation. A few years after my divorce, my ex husband married one of the lead bullies. Twenty years later I felt violated all over again. Karma made me her boss for 2 years. No we never became friends but I was professional towards her. Somehow that experience put a lot of my feelings to rest.
