Why do people judge you?? What do they get out of it? Why do they always have to interfere in your life? Don’t they have other important things to do, I guess NO they don’t.
SOCIETY. Woh hai kya (what’s a society? ) Why do we have to make all our decisions in life based on the mere fact of what will people think. I mean why do we even care, its our life isn’t it. Plus life is too short to worry about that so,(as we say in Urdu) bacha jei lay apni zindagi, apni aur obviously apnay parents ki marzi sai 😉 . Because as much as I hate to admit it but 70%, okay let’s be honest 99.9% of the time they are right so there really isn’t a point to not listen to them especially when they are brown parents. Cause then us innocent little munchkins (okay, well not that innocent) don’t really have a choice warna ammi ki jooti utharnay mein zaida dair nahi lagti. ( PS ik all the brown kids can relate to this)
Think about what YOU want in life. Do what makes you happy, what makes you feel alive. Believe in yourself and surround yourself with the people you love and trust the most because these people will be the ones who would never judge you.
hypothesis 
Society has a very huge impact on our lives, oftentimes it’s regressive than progressive. I hope there comes a time when our actions do not have to be merely based on the society’s reaction.

This is so true. Society can be so judgemental. I completely agree, do what makes you happy with the people you want to be with and don’t worry about what other people think.

I think in the Asian countries this type of mentality is very common. I still remember my aunt used to say things like what will the neighbours say or what will the relatives say if we did something out of order as kids. I have brought up my kids to do what they think is right for them and never mind what anyone else thinks.

Truly, society has a huge impact on us. Almost all of us do the things which society need or expect from us, We have developed society and now we are trapped in this judgemental society. Hope this will end in future.
